Passive Fire Bricks

Our range of passive refractory bricks are bauxite based alumino silicate fire clay bricks. Passive bricks are made by dry pressing method and are fired in an electronically controlled tunnel kiln. Passive bricks are proven for refractory applications ranging from 1260°c – 1450°c.

Durabricks

Durabrick is the term derived from 'durability' of the brick and improved performance to function under extremities. Durabrick® is a custom made product with controlled Fe203 content and high RUL & PCE properties. DURABRICKS® are available upto 90% Alumina and Sillimanite quality.

Comparison

Refractory Durabrick®

Regular Fire Bricks

  • Controlled Iron Content
  • Iron Content Fluctuates In Every Lot
  • After Firing Few Iron Marks
  • After Firing Higher Iron Marks leading to Pinholes
  • Higher CCS = better resistance to abrasion & slag attack
  • Uncontrolled CCS mostly lower than Durabricks
  • Evenly Fired Under "Spaced Batch" Process
  • Large Lots fired together leaving many bricks 'Under Fired'
  • Durable Finish with low warpage
  • Rough Finish with uncontrolled warpage
  • Dry Pressed at 150 MT pressure. FSP & Hydrolic press
  • Mostly Pressed at 100 MT pressure
  • Result: 'Reduced Downtime' and 'Shorter Repair Cycles' leading to "Higher Profitability" UPTO 30% Higher Performance than Regular Fire Bricks
